BattlegroundTargets: organizes the enemy unit frames for easier target switching. Here’s how to set it up.

Battleground Enemies: alternative to BattlegroundTargets

GET THIS! I am now using the REPorter battleground map. I leave mine open in the bottom right of my screen and can easily see my team locations and who is in combat. It includes icons to call incoming enemy players.

Healers Have To Die

LiteAssist (not for healers): allows you to select the target caller and see who they’re attacking.

Setting up LiteAssist:

  1. Go to Game Menu and select Key Bindings
  2. Scroll down until you get to the LiteAssist section
  3. Bind a key to set your target as assist (e.g., shift-F)
  4. Bind a key to set your mouseover as assist (e.g., ctrl-F)
  5. Bind a key to target your assist target (e.g., F)

Before entering battle target your target caller and press shift-F. You will get a notification message.

Press F during the fight and you’ll automatically be hitting the correct target.

You don’t have to use F. Set up any keybind you’d like.

BG Defender: “BG Defender (Based on AB Defender) gives you a little movable window with buttons to announce the number of incoming enemies at the base you’re defending in most battlegrounds. There are also buttons to call for help or announce the base you’re defending is safe. BG Defender will automatically pop up when entering a battleground and close after you leave.”

TellMeWhen: Very powerful, customizable with a learning curve. For example, TellMeWhen tells Fraxxure when an enemy is casting a select set of spells (e.g. crowd control, chaos bolts, etc.) and has Mass Spell Reflect available. Always fun to watch a warlock kill themselves with a Chaos Bolt.

An alternative to Recount with some interesting additional features. For example, if I’m the target caller in a RBG I use the Target Caller addin to see who puts the most damage into the same target that I am. Time Attack lets you set specific time frames for testing on training dummies.

A good way to track final score estimation, node timers and many other key events.

Class Announcer: “When you change target, if the targeted unit is an enemy player, the addon will announce the class of that player. Can be useful in battlegrounds as quick confirmation of a player class without having to look down at the tooltip”.

Show the PvP stat multipliers on your tooltips.

Allows you to create talent profiles and use 1 button to switch between them.

How to set-up BattlegroundTargets

Here’s the supporting video link. It also covers how to set up raid frames for your team. Set this up for 10×10 then BGT allows you to copy that configuration over to 15×15. Here’s the link to the addon.

Fix for BattlegroundTargets

This works.

Here’s the details:

“Battleground Targets Addon Fix – Post 7.1.5
I’ve tested this and it works until the developer provides an update from the 08/2016 latest build – (credit to Krampus-Velen) for sharing.

Steps to fix BG Targets:

1) Open up battlegroundtargets.lua with notepad in the following directory
C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\interface\addons\BattlegroundTargets

2) after opening battlegroundtargets.lua with notepad – save it to battlegroundtargets.old (so you can replace back if you mess up)

3) close the file

4) Open up the original battlegroundtargets.lua with notepad (you won’t see the lua extension this time) in the following directory
C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\interface\addons\BattlegroundTargets

5) Once open in notepad – open EDIT then Find
search on local id
(this will bring you to the section you need to edit)

6) Replace old line with new and save and exit / then restart wow.

local id, name, _, icon, _, role = GetSpecializationInfoForClassID(classID, i)

local id, name, _, icon, role = GetSpecializationInfoForClassID(classID, i)”

I actually edited the lua file during a battleground then reloaded. It worked.

Don’t Cast: an add-on for people like me that can’t see damage reduction buffs

Party Ability Bars addon is back

This add on simplifies applying DoTs

SayKarma: If a monk uses Touch of Karma everyone must stop hitting them. I’ve killed my healer when bursting on a monk during Touch of Karma.

Shadowed Unit Frames: Easily move, size and configure the unit frames.

Gnosis: I use this to time my interrupts so I don’t get juked by casters. “Gnosis is a highly configurable castbar and single timer addon. Gnosis can show ticks of channeled spells, detect unintentional clipping while channeling and combine data of channeled spells to combat text addons (MSBT, SCT, Parrot). It also allows to create buff, debuff, and cooldown (spell, rune, item) timers with a similar set of options castbars have.”

GladiatorlosSA: Good enough for some people to call for it to be banned. I used to use it a lot. ”

This is a special addon, it has no interface, but it can speak. It is SOUND ALERT addon leads you to become GLADIATOR, so having the name GladiatorlosSA.

This addon will alert spells using customized voice. For example, when you are in BG or arena, an enemy uses his pvp trinket, a voice of “Trinket” will come out. It can alert many spells(100+), each spell can be selected on or off.”
